Comparion Insurance Agency is seeking a motivated and personable Licensed Sales Agent to join our growing team in Tampa, FL. This is an in-office, client-facing role focused on building strong local relationships and serving the insurance needs of your community. Please note: This is not a remote position. You must have active Property, Casualty, and Life insurance licenses prior to employment.ย 

Compensation:ย 

  • Training salary: $55,000-$65,000ย 

  • $1,000 professional start bonusย 

  • Total first-year compensation typically ranges from $55,000-$75,000 (base, bonuses, and uncapped commissions)ย 

  • Top performers have the potential to earn $100,000+ in their first yearย

External Qualifications

Qualifications:ย 

  • Licenses:Active state licenses in Property & Casualty and Life insurance (required)ย 

  • Experience:Prior sales or customer service experience preferred, but notย requiredย 

Skills:ย 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilitiesย 

  • Strong persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsย 

  • Effective time management and organizational abilitiesย 

  • Quick learner with the ability to understand insurance coverage and underwriting guidelinesย
