Job description

Athens Orthopedic Clinic ("AOC") is a well renowned private orthopedic practice that has served the North Georgia Community for the past 60 years. The subspecialties include foot and ankle, spine, hand, adult reconstruction, pain management, and sports medicine. The practice is located strategically throughout North Georgia with eleven (11) regional offices. AOC offers an industry-leading orthopedic platform with three wholly owned ambulatory surgery centers, two MRI / CT imaging centers, the region's only orthopedic urgent care centers, an occupational medicine center, and a robust outpatient therapy network. AOC's 73 total providers cared for 232,000 patients last year with expansive plans for growth. In addition to clinical care, several AOC physicians hold faculty appointments with the UGA / Augusta University Medical School with over 150 medical students hosted over the last decade. Clinical research endeavors span a wide range of projects.

We are currently seeking a fellowship trained Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon to join our Athens Health Campus to support succession planning and growth. AOC is led, owned and governed by physicians with a strong focus on preserving autonomy and quality of care.
