Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Minimum 3-5 years of Unix experience for AVP level and 5 years for VP level.
- Strong hands-on experience supporting Unix/Linux operating systems in enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Experience in OS patch engineering, patch catalogue management, patch testing, certification, validation, and controlled release.
- Knowledge of patch tooling integration and automation across infrastructure platforms.
- Understanding of production, operational, security, and compliance requirements for Unix patching.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, test, and certify Unix operating-system patching solutions, patch catalogues, and platform enhancements.
- Support Unix OS patch engineering, patch-tool integration, and automation capabilities across infrastructure platforms.
- Validate, test, and release Unix patches to meet production, compliance, security, and operational requirements.
- Maintain patch certification evidence, release documentation, implementation procedures, and operational handover records.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and application teams to resolve dependencies and support reliable patch deployment.
Salary Range: $90,000 to $115,000 per year
