Job Title : ABINITIO DEVELOPER - SQL UNIX
Location : Arkansas
Duration : 6-12 month contract
The primary Skill requirement of this position is Ab Initio with 3 to 5 years experience in development area and secondary skill requirements are SQL preferably DB2 and UNIX scripting.
Roles and responsibilities of this position:
โ€ข Preparing mapping documents after discussion with business analyst as per the requirement .
โ€ข Preparing High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) documents
โ€ข Developing Unit test plan and Unit test cases
โ€ข Developing Ab-Initio graphs and plans to implement the LLD
โ€ข Conducting unit testing and analyzing the results
โ€ข Tuning Ab-Initio graphs by converting serial data flows into Multi File System to improve the performance for the Ab Initio graphs
โ€ข Optimizing the Ab-Initio graphs, plans and SQL queries for better performance using query explanation of plans and performance tracking methods
โ€ข Developing generic Ab-Initio graphs and plans to use it to handle different processes
โ€ข Deploying tested code to SIT and UAT environment
โ€ข Developing wrapper scripts to run Ab-Initio graphs and to schedule the jobs
โ€ข Writing DB2 queries to retrieve data from databases
โ€ข Conducting Code reviews and peer reviews
