Job description

Job Details:

SUMMARY:
This position serves as the primary owner of Tyson’s global lease accounting software and plays a critical role in driving financial accuracy, technical compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. A key objective for this role is partnering with other Finance, Accounting, and Treasury teams to develop and support a global Center of Excellence (COE) for Leasing.
 

This role offers a high-visibility platform within Corporate Accounting, providing a unique vantage point to learn Tyson's end-to-end global processes. It is designed for an individual with a strong desire to learn, offering an exceptional runway to expand technical expertise, master complex system workflows, and accelerate career growth.

REQUIREMENTS:  

Education: Bachelor’s degree in an academic field directly related and essential to this job (Accounting or Finance degree preferred).  

Experience: 3 plus years of related experience preferred. Demonstrated success in streamlining internal processes along with documenting complex processes and possessing strong prioritization and organizational skills 

Computer Skills: Working knowledge of SAP and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferred including the ability to work with large data sets. Power BI a plus. 

Communication Skills: Strong written presentation and verbal Communication Skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.  

Special Skills: Certified Public Accountant, eligible to sit for CPA exam, preferred, but not required.
