Job description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscape Turf Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our clients' lawns and landscapes. This role involves mowing, fertilizing, watering, and overall care of turf grass and plants to ensure they look healthy and vibrant. This is a full-time position, and the ideal candidate will be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mow and edge lawns using various types of mowers and trimming equipment
  • Apply fertilizers and pesticides to promote healthy turf and plant growth
  • Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to ensure appropriate water levels for different types of grass and plants
  • Remove weeds, debris, and other unwanted items from lawns and gardens
  • Plant new grass and plants as needed
  • Prune shrubs, trees, and hedges to maintain their shape and health
  • Monitor the condition of lawns and landscapes and report any issues to management
  • Keep equipment and work areas clean and well-maintained
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while interacting with clients

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in lawn and landscape maintenance
  • Ability to operate various types of mowers and trimming equipment
