We’re seeking a motivated and dependable Spray Technician / Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll help maintain beautiful, healthy landscapes by performing lawn and plant-health applications, pruning trees and shrubs, and maintaining landscaped beds. If you enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, and delivering exceptional customer service, this position may be the perfect fit.
What You’ll Do
Lawn & Turf Care
• Perform lawn inspections and diagnose turf‑health issues.
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides safely and accurately.
• Operate spray equipment, backpack sprayers, and hoses up to 300 ft.
• Track and monitor treatment results and make recommendations for improvement.
Landscape Maintenance
• Perform routine lawn and landscape maintenance to support plant health and property appearance.
• Coordinate with maintenance crew to maintain landscape beds through edging, weeding, cultivating soil, and mulching.
• Identify and troubleshoot landscape issues including soil quality, compaction, and irrigation concerns.
Tree & Shrub Care
• Prune shrubs and small trees to maintain health, shape, and structure.
• Remove dead or damaged branches following proper horticultural guidelines.
• Assist with seasonal and corrective pruning for ornamental landscapes.
Chemical Application & Plant Health Care
• Apply chemical treatments to turf, shrubs, trees, and landscape beds.
• Calibrate and maintain chemical application equipment.
• Follow all chemical‑handling, storage, and documentation requirements.
• Record application notes and treatment details accurately.
Customer Service & Professionalism
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about services performed.
• Provide recommendations for additional care when beneficial.
• Build long‑term relationships through consistent, high‑quality service.
Requirements
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Valid state and federal spraying licenses.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and perform outdoor labor daily.
• Comfortable using technology (phones/tablets) for routing and documentation.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday (40–45 hours/week) with occasional Saturdays.
• Must speak and read English fluently.
