Job description

Hiring for 1 Entry Level Position

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilize and operate equipment, material and tools in the process, inspection, bundling and banding of tubing on both mills, responsible for safe operation all equipment at table and all ancillary activities that support the table functions and banding and bundling of material. Complies with all safety, quality, customer focus, preventative maintenance and housekeeping standards. All other duties as assigned and expected.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Read and apply tape measure, roll groove/\"L gages/, pipe tapes
2. Understand and use Shop Floor System and bundle tagging
3. Select correct bundle size, number of pieces, wood spacers and all other characteristics for customers and BMT specs
4. Ability to check surface condition and end condition
5. Set up and operation of manual tables and bundling equipment
6. Competent in their part of mill set ups
7. Competent in coating line set up and operation
8. Ability to check and apply pipe coating and stencil
9. Correct interpretation of tubing and customer specs to achieve a match and verify this match
10. Complete knowledge of Company quality requirements
11. Complete knowledge of Company housekeeping rules
12. Ability to understand and fill out quality sheets to properly operate a forklift as applicable
13. Ability to run over head crane
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High School diploma/equivalent: previous experience in a manufacturing setting, machine operating skills or ability to learn and comprehend the same. Requirements to speak and read English.
