As demand continues to grow across METTLER TOLEDO's Vehicle and Heavy Capacity product lines, the fabrication team is expanding to support production of critical components used in vehicle scale systems worldwide.

This role plays an important part in ensuring high-quality fabricated components are produced safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You'll work with CNC plasma equipment and other fabrication machinery while supporting continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining quality standards, and helping drive production performance.

The Work You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Operate CNC plasma equipment and fabrication machinery
  • Follow production schedules using blueprints, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
  • Perform machine setups and make program modifications when required
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Complete quality inspections on finished work and verify parts meet specifications
  • Enter production and inventory data into SAP and other systems
  • Support inventory control and material movement activities
  • Operate forklifts, jib cranes, and overhead cranes safely
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
  • Present team performance metrics during daily Tier 1 meetings
  • Provide support and guidance to entry-level fabricators
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity
