Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machine Operator to join a well-established precision manufacturing company. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Star or Citizen Swiss machines to produce high-quality precision parts. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented machinist who takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate a Star or Citizen Swiss machine
Interchange cutting tools within the machine as needed
Monitor and maintain fluid levels
Clean the machine before and after use
Maintain a clean and safe workstation
Continuously load the bar feeder throughout the shift
Produce parts according to Dimensional Control Plan (DCP) specifications
Perform tool changes at set intervals
Perform preventative maintenance and report machine issues to supervisor
Follow all work instructions and procedures per the company's QMS (ISO)
Report quality updates to supervisor daily
Follow all internal, OSHA, and safety regulations

Qualifications:

1-2 years of manufacturing experience with CNC control required
Star or Citizen Swiss machine experience preferred
IQMS experience a plus, but not required
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and percentages)
Proficient with computers, including email and record-keeping systems

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain stationary for up to 90% of shift while operating assigned machine
Ability to move about the shop floor as needed
Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs


Must be able to work in an environment with moving mechanical parts, fumes, and higher noise levels
Must wear required PPE including slip-resistant shoes and safety glasses
