MAU is hiring a Pellet Mill Operator for our client in Walterboro, SC.


As a Pellet Mill Operator, you will operate pelletizing and production equipment while supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information

• Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Friday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM


Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required

• Previous pellet mill experience required


Preferred Education and Experience

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills strongly preferred

• Forklift experience preferred


General Requirements

• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation

• Comfortable working around industrial processing equipment

• Strong attention to detail to ensure product consistency and quality

• Ability to adhere to GMP and manufacturing standards

• Ability to follow safety, PPE, environmental, and quality procedures


Essential Functions

• Operate pellet mill and related processing equipment safely and efficiently

• Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to maintain product quality and throughput

• Start up, shut down, and clean production equipment in accordance with SOPs

• Follow production schedules and batch instructions accurately

• Assist with packaging, labeling, and palletizing finished products

• Identify and report mechanical or operational issues promptly

• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor adjustments on production equipment

• Support preventative maintenance and housekeeping activities

• Maintain clean and organized work areas around production lines and equipment

• Move raw materials and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment

• Accurately complete production documentation and inventory transactions

• Ensure materials are staged properly for production runs

• Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
