Job description

Proven Merchant Services Sales Professional

Optix Merchant Group is looking for an experienced merchant services sales professional to join our team in Dallas.

If you've sold payment processing before, you already know that not all opportunities are the same. Some companies lock you into one processor, some offer little support, and some expect you to figure everything out on your own.

We've built Optix differently.

As an independent brokerage, we work with multiple processing platforms built on TSYS and Fiserv networks, which gives our sales team flexibility when presenting solutions to merchants. Our goal is simple: find the right fit for the merchant and build long-term relationships.

We're not looking for someone brand new to the industry. We do not currently have a training program for entry-level salespeople. We're looking for someone who already understands statement analysis, pricing structures, POS systems, underwriting, cash discounting, and the day-to-day realities of selling merchant services.

The position involves prospecting for new business, conducting statement reviews, presenting payment and business management solutions, following up on opportunities, and managing accounts from initial conversation through installation.

You'll have access to company-generated opportunities, an established merchant portfolio, modern CRM tools (IRIS CRM aka Merchant Central), direct access to ownership, and multiple processing solutions that allow you to focus on helping merchants rather than forcing a single product into every conversation.

We offer a Quick Start Program for onboarding, followed by an Independent Contractor program with uncapped earning potential. Our experienced sales representatives currently earn between $80,000 and $120,000+ annually based on performance.

To be considered, please tell us:

• How many years you've been in merchant services

• Which companies or ISOs you've worked with

• Approximately how many merchant accounts you've personally boarded during the last 12 months

• What products you've sold (payment processing, POS systems, cash discounting, dual pricing, equipment leasing, etc.)

Applicants without merchant services experience will not be considered.
