Overview: Seeking a skilled Multifamily Truss Designer to play a vital role in the construction of multi-unit residential buildings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create safe, efficient, and code-compliant truss systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design truss systems for multi-unit residential buildings, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to codes.
- Develop detailed truss layout drawings and fabrication documents using specialized software.
- Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and material efficiency.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate truss designs seamlessly.
- Participate in project meetings and provide on-site guidance as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in truss design, especially for multifamily projects.
- Proficiency in MiTek or other CAD based truss design software.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Prefer a minimum of an Associate Degree in Design
