Entry level truss designers are professionals who create detailed plans and layouts for roof, floor, and other structural trusses, primarily using specialized computer software. They work with architects, engineers, and builders to ensure the trusses meet building codes, structural requirements, and client specifications. Entry level designers typically perform tasks such as interpreting blueprints, preparing design documents, and assisting with project estimates. This role is ideal for those starting a career in structural design or construction, often requiring an associate’s degree or relevant technical training.
