Manufacturing - Material Handler First and Second Shift

Description
To handle and maintain the flow of wood building materials, and products according to established guidelines. Full time and Part time shifts, with flexible hours. First and second shift positions, with shift premiums. Equal opportunity employer.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Physically handle materials used to construct wood building components and finished products. While performing the responsibilities of the position, the employee is required to continually lift 50 pounds with occasionally lifting up to 80 pounds. Be able to bend, twist, squat, and reach while maintaining safety standards.
• Operates motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment, some of which may require specialized training.
• Must be capable of handling Wisconsin weather where it can be -10 one day and 70 the next day.
• Maintain good math skills as needed, and follow all safety guidelines.
• Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers: attends periodic safety meetings as required.
• Respond attentively to training from foreman, or more senior handlers in order to increase own knowledge of work processes.

Requirements
• Must be able to perform the job successfully, and perform each essential duty as necessary.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). This is an entry level position where employee will receive on the job training.
• Must wear and maintain all company provided, and non-company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
