We are seeking a Beneficiary Service Representative to join our North American Disaster Relief team in Aurora, IL. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of Beneficiary Service Representative,you will have the opportunity to:
  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
  • Take inbound/makes outbound phone calls to serve homeowners affected by disaster and needing assistance with rebuilding their homes.
  • Investigate requests and documents services requested based on candidates need, eligibility and other program criteria. Recommends potential recipients for consideration to the U.S. Rebuild Beneficiary Services team.
  • Communicate and ministers to homeowners, keeping them informed during the application process and assisting in their requests.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the ministry and supports phone calls for other departments and areas as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

What are the qualifications?
Serve with Excellence
As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Intermediate technology skills.
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Highly effective communication and written skills.
  • Ability to identify with and understand another persons experience or point of view.
  • Ability to accurately prepare and maintain documents, records, files, and reports.
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve problems.
  • Skilled in managing ones own time
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required
