Job description

Traveling Superintendent – Lead High-Stakes Commercial Concrete and Steel Builds


Job Overview:

  • Company: Rapid Construction Solutions LLC.
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $100,000 - $120,000 per year plus Performance Bonus.
  • Location: Field-based (Florida and Eastern United States).
  • Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday (Field-based hours as required).
  • Project Scope: Commercial Concrete and Steel.
  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: OSHA Certification.


The Opportunity:

You will serve as the primary on-site leader, driving the daily execution of large-scale commercial projects from groundbreaking to completion. This role offers the autonomy to manage multi-trade teams while serving as the critical link between owners and project management. You will directly impact the success of a company that has completed over $100 million in projects by ensuring elite safety and quality standards.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Direct daily construction site operations to ensure all work strictly adheres to architectural plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors across all construction phases to maintain peak efficiency and workmanship.
  • Develop and enforce rigorous construction schedules to ensure every project milestone and deadline is met without compromise.
  • Liaise between building owners, Project Managers, and field personnel to resolve technical issues and maintain clear project communication.
  • Implement cost-effective field management practices to keep labor, material, and job costs within established project budgets.
  • Maintain detailed daily logs documenting site activities and progress to ensure total transparency for internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Execute project walkthroughs and turnover meetings to provide aftercare instructions and ensure high-level client satisfaction.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of preferred experience as a Traveling Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid OSHA certification and a strong commitment to jobsite safety.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate company vehicles for regional travel.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout Florida and the Eastern United States if needed.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Extensive hands-on background in commercial concrete and steel projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in coordinating manpower, materials, and complex construction sequencing.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and experience with field-level cost control.
