Compliance Notes

  • Registry personnel must bring a state or federal issued identification to the facility
  • Photo badge must be worn at all times while on site

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualised occupational therapy treatment plans
  • Provide direct OT interventions to improve functional independence in activities of daily living, instrumental ADLs, and work-related tasks
  • Supervise COTA staff and oversee implementation of treatment plans as assigned
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately in the EMR
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and communicate patient status to physicians and care staff
  • Participate in discharge planning and recommend adaptive equipment, home modifications, and community resources

Requirements

Must-Have

  • โ˜…ย  Active state OT licence โ€” Virginia, current and in good standing
  • โ˜…ย  CPR/BLS certification โ€” current
  • โ˜…ย  Minimum 1 year occupational therapy experience in a post-acute or rehabilitation setting
  • โ˜…ย  Occupational Therapist (OT) licence required for submission
