Travel Security Specialist - Miami, FL
Morning and Afternoon Shifts (Monday-Friday)
Starting Pay Rate: 24.66/Hr.
Weekly Pay/Direct Deposit

Visa seeks an enthusiastic, security-minded professional with an interest in intelligence analysis to join our Global Travel Security (TS) team. As a TS Specialist, you will work as a key member of the wider Global Security & Safety team (GSS), providing critical monitoring, analytical intelligence, and writing responsibilities for our facilities, Travel Security operations, coordination with international security providers as well as invoicing. The position is directly reporting to the Global Travel Security Manager (TSM). This is a security position relevant for candidates who demonstrate interest in and understanding of geopolitics, strong media analysis, writing skills and coordination skills.


Essential Functions


* Travel Tracking - Employee Travel Outreach and actively monitoring safety conditions for Visa business travelers.
* Perform a variety of research, administrative, and analytical duties to assist the TSM on Travel Security operations.
* Coordinate and monitor projects.
* Prepare, present and maintain comprehensive administrative and operational reports. Both adhoc and daily.
* Assist with budget development, Invoices, and Expenses.
* Coordinate and monitor special projects assigned.
* Maintain an understanding of industry operational trends and best practices.


Required Qualifications/Skills


* Strong communication skills and ability to convey a message in a professional manner, in both English and Spanish.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to critically think of a solution independently.
* Ability to use judgement to assess risk mitigation requirements and advise.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability managing complex data sets.
* Experience with operational and project administrative responsibilities.
* Ability to adherence to Policies and Procedures (P&P) and work with minimal supervision, take initiative and proactively handle tasks without constant direction following said P&Ps.
* Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
* Ability to prioritize tasks that are time sensitive.
* Solid research, evaluation and organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
* Capable of following instructions and effectively collaborating and communicating within a team setting.
* Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports; attention to detail to catch and track changes.
* Strong proficiency with technology and capable of learning new computer programs.
* Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office (365).


Day-to-Day Operations:


* Running reports.
* Sending pre-travels and internal email communication with travelers and executive administrators (EAs).
* Coordinating with vendors/creating work orders.
* Verifying/sending confirmation documents.
* Verifying/processing invoices.
* Running analysis reports, tailoring them to traveler/location.
* Creating maps for security briefings.
* Briefing intel reports/risk mitigation.
* Assisting TSM/Regional head on ad-hoc projects.
* Risk assessments for events.
* Constant monitoring of LAC security climate to assist TSM with country/city security ratings.
