Role Overview
The Travel Program Analyst supports the travel program through analytics, reporting, systems administration, technology optimization, and operational support. This role serves as the technical and analytical backbone of the travel function while also acting as a key operational partner capable of triaging traveler, assistant, and stakeholder needs related to travel systems, reporting, policy application, and escalated travel issues.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical capabilities with practical travel operations experience and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
This role is not a traditional travel agent position; rather, it functions as an internal strategic travel operator and escalation point that bridges white-glove traveler support, vendor/agency partnership management, and travel program execution. The ideal candidate brings deep entertainment or high-touch corporate travel experience, understands the nuances of servicing demanding travelers and assistants, and can navigate complex travel situations with exceptional judgment and service orientation.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc travel program reporting dashboards
  • Analyze travel spend, booking behavior, out-of-policy trends, savings opportunities, and traveler adoption metrics
  • Produce actionable insights and recommendations to support travel program strategy and business decision-making
  • Deliver client-level, departmental, and leadership reporting as needed

Systems Administration / Configuration
  • Support administration and configuration of travel booking and expense platforms
  • Maintain traveler profiles, policy logic, approval routing, travel bands, and system data integrity
  • Assist with system updates, policy changes, and platform enhancements

Integrations / Technology Support
  • Partner with HRIS, Finance, and IT on travel-related integrations and data feeds
  • Support troubleshooting and maintenance of integrations between HRIS, booking, and expense platforms
  • Assist in testing/UAT for platform enhancements, upgrades, and implementations

Operational / Stakeholder Support
  • Serve as point of contact for travel systems, reporting, and policy-related inquiries from travelers, assistants, and business stakeholders
  • Triage escalated travel issues and route appropriately across internal teams and external partners
  • Support ad hoc operational requests and stakeholder-specific analysis
  • Partner with Travel leadership to resolve operational issues impacting traveler experience or program compliance

Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and process improvement across the travel ecosystem
  • Document SOPs, workflows, and system processes to support scalable operations

Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in travel operations, travel systems, travel analytics, or related travel program support role
  • Strong understanding of corporate travel operations and travel technology platforms
  • Experience with travel platform administration/configuration preferred
  • Advanced Excel and analytical/reporting skills required
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) preferred
  • Familiarity with HRIS, Finance, and system integrations strongly preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage stakeholder requests and triage operational issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Service-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail

Location
  • This role is based in our Los Angeles office.

Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $75,000 - $95,000. This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
