Job description

Snapshot / Role Overview

We're looking for a Transportation Assistant in the Chino area to support daily logistics for material deliveries, jobsite coordination, and fleet scheduling in an HVAC and sheet metal fabrication shop.

Impact

  • Keep crews supplied and jobs on schedule.
  • Keep delivery records and compliance paperwork clean.
  • Be the calm voice between the shop, the drivers, and the field.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily deliveries and pickups with internal teams and outside drivers.
  • Maintain delivery schedules and answer delivery questions.
  • Help dispatch drivers, route deliveries, and manage paperwork.
  • Track jobsite material needs against project timelines.
  • Support fleet scheduling, maintenance tracking, and DOT records.
  • Confirm deliveries and resolve issues quickly.

Must-Haves

  • One or more years in transportation, dispatch, or logistics support.
  • Strong communication and coordination.
  • Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
