Job Summary:
Agilysys is a company that delivers state-of-the-art hospitality technology software solutions. The Project Manager is responsible for leading client-facing implementation projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Lead customer-facing implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and documentation in alignment with Agilysys project management standards.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities, timelines, and resource constraints.
• Identify, assess, and escalate project risks, ensuring proactive mitigation and resolution.
• Oversee project scope, budget, quality, and resource allocation to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Installation Services, Product, Support, and other internal teams to align on project goals and execution plans.
• Partner with customers to set expectations, define goals, manage deliverables, and provide regular status updates.
• Coordinate resource planning with internal teams to ensure project staffing aligns with timelines and deliverables.
• Provide guidance to customers on best practices for implementing Agilysys solutions and optimizing outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement by contributing to best practices, process enhancements, and product feedback.
• Ensure smooth transition of completed projects to Support teams for ongoing customer success.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Hospitality Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in project or program management, preferably in technical or software implementation environments.
• Experience managing customer-facing implementation projects in a billable or services-driven environment.
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Salesforce, Certinia, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, including domestic and international travel.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers and internal teams effectively.
• Solid problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
