Job Description:
Job Purpose:
  • Our Company is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead critical initiatives focused on Network Transformation and Automated Material Retrieval (AMR) deployments across our global manufacturing footprint.
  • This role will manage projects involving SD-WAN implementation, network segmentation, and device upgrades, ensuring alignment with AMR deployment timelines and dependencies.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, deep understanding of manufacturing environments, and proven experience in network-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of network transformation projects including SD-WAN, segmentation, and device upgrades.
  • Oversee AMR deployment projects ensuring network readiness and dependency alignment.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT, Manufacturing Engineering, and external vendors.
  • Identify and manage dependencies between network upgrades and AMR deployments.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and maintain issue escalation processes.
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and site readiness assessments.
  • Ensure smooth transition to IT Operations and Service Desk post-deployment.
  • Support training for impacted teams.
  • Execute on financial fidelity, ongoing financial planning and tracking in support of all Network Transformation initiatives

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record managing network infrastructure projects (SD-WAN, segmentation, device lifecycle upgrades).
  • Experience with Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) or AMR deployments in manufacturing settings.
  • Strong understanding of network technologies and protocols (Cisco, Palo Alto, SD-WAN).
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Financial acumen with proven ability to navigate related processes from forecasting, scheduling of spend, tracking of actuals and navigation of processes to keep systems of records up to date to assess and track project financial performance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in global manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking (Azure, Oracle).

Travel Requirements:
  • This position may require up to 20% travel to manufacturing sites globally.
