GENERAL FUNCTION:
  • Program manages and drives Strategic Planning, the annual process led by the Corporate Strategy team; Strategic Planning includes defined activities that ultimately lead to the development and documentation of the bank's Enterprise Strategic Plan, a three-year plan submitted to the Board of Directors and Federal regulators on an annual basis
  • Drives or participates in the design of the project plan, work assignments, target dates and other aspects of project management
  • Owns oversight of key Strategic Planning activities to ensure effective work assignments and timely, on-time execution, including activities managed within the Corporate Strategy team and activities led by our internal Line of Business and Corporate Function partners, including Finance, IT, Human Capital, Legal, and the Office of the Corporate Secretary
  • Owns internal project tracking, reporting, and communications for Strategic Planning activities, including status and key execution risks
  • Accountable for managing logistics for select Executive and Board of Directors meetings, including securing meeting rooms, appropriate audio visual equipment / channels, and required physical meeting materials; coordinates scheduling for key Executive meetings
  • Identifies and proposes process improvements for Strategic Planning processes
  • Responsible for helping to manage execution risk in Strategic Planning activities and in ensuring Strategic Planning meets regulatory requirements, including the documentation of activities and processes required by governing regulatory agencies, and by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform the full range of the project management cycle for a defined set of Strategic Planning activities: initiating, planning, and monitoring and driving execution
  • Develop and manage execution plan for Strategic Planning activities through the calendar year, including execution resources and timeline / key milestone dates that align with fixed events or deadlines like submission of the strategic plan to Regulators
  • Own and execute Strategic Planning process tracking and reporting, including internal communications among the Corporate Strategy team and with internal partners outside of Corporate Strategy
  • Support execution of Strategic Planning processes by setting agendas for internal meetings, scheduling and coordinating with internal partners for critical Strategic Planning processes and meetings, and securing logistics for critical meetings

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in management of projects of moderate size/complexity with limited performance risk, including project planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting, or a combination of education and experience preferred.

Total Base Pay Range 71,100.00 - 145,900.00 USD Annual
