Job description

Job Summary:
Google is seeking a Program Manager for Vendor Operations Transformation to enable YouTube Global Vendor Operations' success. The role involves developing strategic programs, managing cross-functional projects, and integrating operations tooling and process automation to enhance efficiency and future readiness.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, launch, and manage strategic programs aimed at transforming YouTube's global vendor operations. Focus on integrating operations tooling and process automation across areas such as location strategy, forecasting and planning, billing and invoice, and risk and access.
• Partner directly with internal technical teams (such as engineering, product, BizTech, and data science) to ensure complex operational requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications, robust system architectures, and shipped features.
• Lead cross-functional projects to discover, validate, pilot, and recommend innovative tooling and disruptive technologies. Evaluate and design technical architectures balancing innovation with reliable, practical cloud implementations.
• Establish and scale "human-in-the-loop" processes that smoothly integrate new automated tools with existing global workflows. Advocate a data-driven culture by utilizing SQL or scripting languages to build performance tracking mechanisms, measuring the explicit impact of automated solutions on operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in program management, operations management, or management consulting, with a distinct focus on technical implementations, systems engineering, or digital transformation.
• Experience working directly with cross-functional technical teams (engineering, product, data science) to launch internal tools, automation features, or enterprise software.
• Experience working with or managing global vendor external workforce relationships and models.
• Experience navigating environments, managing stakeholder landscapes, and bringing technical structure to operational requirements.
Preferred:
• MBA or Master's degree in a technical or business field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Operations Research, Business Administration).
• Experience in SQL or a scripting language (e.g., Python, Apps Script) to independently review data workflows, automate manual tasks, or analyze program impact.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its practical application within a global operations or support context.
