Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Greet every customer with a smile and top-tier service.
  • Lead and develop store staff through hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling.
  • Monitor store financials, sales, and cash/inventory handling.
  • Oversee product ordering, delivery reconciliation, and inventory levels.
  • Drive sales through effective foodservice and merchandising management.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements (alcohol, tobacco, lottery, etc.).
  • Participate in leadership meetings and hold effective team huddles.
  • Uphold Jacksons standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Our stores require open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (24/7 operation).
  • 2+ years of management or supervisory experience (retail or foodservice preferred).
  • A Food Handlers Permit as required by county, city, or state.
  • A proven history of exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Basic computer and POS system proficiency.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Legal age to stock and sell regulated products.
  • Strong attention to detail and a history of being self-motivated.
  • A hands-on leader who leads by example and thrives in a team environment.

This is a transitional position. Store Managers in Training are expected to move into a leadership role within the company after completing the training program.
Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
  • Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
