Job description

Serves as Five Rivers Analytics front line manager responsible for providing contractor supervision and interfacing with Government managers and contracting representatives.
Responsibilities
  • Work includes routine project/program tasks based on established policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Setting priorities; assigning tasks/projects; providing technical assistance to subordinate employees; monitoring and evaluating performance of subordinate contract employees.
  • Reviewing and providing acceptance of deliverables prior to submission to the Government client.
  • Providing management of contractor performance in terms of quality, quantity, and timeliness.
  • Coordinating and developing program, administrative and technical talent through on-the-job and formal training.
  • Working and communicating with Government managers on programmatic issues.
  • Ensuring Government client approval is obtained for contractor travel, overtime, and purchases, reviewing travel vouchers to ensure accuracy before submission to the Government Client
  • Coaching and developing contract employee capabilities; approving contractor leave; writing appraisals for contract employees under their supervision.
  • Submitting reports and other information requested by the Government.
  • Working with FRA and the Government managers to ensure contract employees are on-boarded and off-boarded successfully.
  • Ensuring training forms have been submitted to the training team and approved by the Government client prior to allowing attendance in training courses; ensuring accurate submittals of training cost estimates before submission to the training team; ensuring project expenses are tracked.
  • Taking or recommending corrective/disciplinary action for contractor employees, as appropriate.
  • preparing Task Order (TO) kick-off meeting reports and minutes.
  • Preparing detailed project management plans.
  • Participating in Status Review Meetings and Program Management Reviews and produce minutes.

Qualifications
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance for consideration
  • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or business discipline with experience in managing complex programs.
  • 10+ years' experience executing the Program Management Process to include initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing a project.
  • 8+ years' experience in managing teams providing advisory and assistance services.
