Summary:

The Director of Program Operations (DPO) position is an administrative leadership position that provides administrative oversight to the Clinical Director of Developmental Programs, Developmental Programs Coordinator, Clinical Supervisors, ABA Technicians, and clients in the Social Beginnings and Bridge programs. Each program location consists of designated clients, ABA Technicians, and Clinical Supervisors. The role of the DPO is to oversee the growth, expansion, and financial health of both the Social Beginnings and Bridge programs. The DPO ensures Developmental Programs functions as a financially healthy, culturally aligned, and clinically integrated business unit. The DPO is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives, monitoring KPIs, leading expansion or improvement efforts, and serving as the primary liaison between the program’s operators and the executive team. The DPO works closely with the Co-CEO’s and the program’s Clinical Supervisors to facilitate the ongoing operations of the programs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time exempt position, and hours of work and days are variable between Monday through Friday 7:30am to 7:30pm.


Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Provide direct supervision to the Clinical Director of Developmental Programs & the Developmental Programs Coordinator.
  • Monitor and manage program-level KPIs, including census, utilization, engagement scores, and financial performance. 
  • Travel to and participate in marketing events for the Social Beginnings and Bridge programs
  • Other responsibilities:
    1. Collaboration with the administrative team to complete administrative duties, including but not limited to: organizing client billing, creating information sheets and handbooks, confirming and obtaining contracts with SB locations, and booking in-house events for camp. 
  • Partner with the CFO and clinical and operational leadership to ensure budget adherence and profitability of each center. 
  • Drive consistency in program operations through oversight of SOP implementation, tools, and systems (CRM, EMR, HRIS, etc.). 
  • Develop and execute strategies for expansions, or reorgs in alignment with strategic growth goals. 
  • Monitor program culture audits, client outcomes, and employee satisfaction to ensure alignment with organizational values. 
  • Facilitate ongoing leadership training and coordination with the Learning & Development team. 
  • Serve as the operational point person between centers and internal departments, including Clinical, HR, Family Financial Services, Talent Acquisition, and Facilities. 
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational policies across centers.
  • Provide guidance to Clinical and Operational Leaders on implementation and enforcement of disciplinary action, resignations, and employee relations in collaboration with HR. 
  • Proactively identify operational risks and lead corrective action planning. 
  • Comply with all company policies as outlined in the Employment Agreement and Handbook.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Completion of a Masters Degree, preferably in Applied Behavior Analysis or relevant field such as Healthcare Administration. Education may be substituted for additional relevant experience.
  • 5-10 years of healthcare leadership experience, preferably leading operations in a complex healthcare environment overseeing clinical operations.
