Are you ready to be part of something new and exciting? Birdies Links and Drinks is looking for an experienced KM for our flagship location in Middletown, DE. We are the first of our kind dining and entertainment venue. You will be part of the team that will set up the new kitchen, hire and train the staff, and have a real a voice in the direction of back of house operations as we move the concept forward.
The ideal candidate will meet these minimum criteria
  • 2 Years prior experience as a Kitchen Manager in a full service, high-volume kitchen
  • Experience with new store openings
  • Expert knowledge of cost of goods including theoretical cost
  • Expert knowledge in scheduling, inventory, ordering, and training
  • Expert knowledge in kitchen set-up
  • Must be willing to take complete ownership of back of house operations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good Attitude and team player
  • Must possess a current accredited Food Protection Manager Certification
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Conduct a kitchen and bar line check
  • Write daily prep sheets using on hand and shelf life
  • Expedite food maintaining quality and ticket times
  • Check out daily prep for kitchen and bar
  • Check out both kitchen and front of house employees
  • Maintain a high level of quality of food
  • Cleanliness of kitchen held to highest standard
  • Maintain inventory, scheduling, and labor reports
  • Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary
  • Schedule includes working nights, weekends, and holidays
