Job description

About Red Oak

Red Oak is the compliance and distribution platform built for the asset management industry. 18 of the top 20 asset managers in the world rely on us to automate fund document review, distribution workflows, and regulatory compliance — with no direct holistic competitor in the space.

We grew from ~$12M ARR in 2024 to $30.6M today — roughly 150% YoY — and we're targeting $100M ARR. That growth creates real opportunity at every level of the company, including the team responsible for getting clients live and driving adoption.

Why This Role Matters

Implementation is where the sale becomes real. When a new client comes onboard, this role is their single point of contact from kickoff through go-live — translating complex regulatory requirements into a working system configuration, running training, and handing off a client who's confident and ready to operate independently.

As we scale, our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality implementations determines how fast we can grow and how strong our reputation becomes. This person isn't just managing a checklist — they're shaping the client experience at the moment it matters most.

High ownership. High client impact. High visibility.

What Success Looks Like
  • On-Time, In-Scope Go-Lives — Implementations land on schedule, within scope, and clients feel prepared on day one.

  • Client Satisfaction & References — Completed go-lives generate strong satisfaction scores and clients who are willing to be references.

  • Documentation That Scales — Training materials and process docs reduce post-go-live support volume — not just for your clients, but for the team.

  • Faster Time-to-Value — You identify friction in the onboarding process, automate what can be automated, and measurably reduce average implementation cycle time.

  • Smooth Handoffs — Client Success inherits clients who are fully onboarded, well-trained, and actively using the platform — not confused or under-configured.

The Role

You’ll own end-to-end implementation of Red Oak’s Compliance Connectivity Platform — including Compliance, Distribution, and Supervision products — for enterprise asset managers operating in complex regulatory environments. This isn’t light configuration; clients have sophisticated requirements, multiple stakeholders, and real stakes around go‑live timing. You’ll run the project, translate business requirements into system setup, lead training, and manage the relationship from kickoff through handoff to Client Success.

  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned implementations — managing timelines, milestones, risks, and stakeholder expectations from kickoff through go‑live.

  • Conduct needs assessments and translate client requirements into customized configurations across Compliance, Distribution, and Supervision modules.

  • Develop and execute project plans; proactively surface risks and dependencies before they become problems.

  • Deliver hands‑on training to client teams — technical users and business stakeholders alike.

  • Create and maintain documentation: internal process guides and client‑facing resources that outlast the implementation itself.

  • Use AI tools operationally to move faster and communicate better — Claude for project planning and client data analysis, Gong for meeting capture, ChatGPT for drafting client communications.

  • Coordinate cross‑functionally with Engineering, Product, Client Success, Support, and Solution Engineering; you know when to escalate and when to resolve.

  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities that reduce time‑to‑value across the implementation practice.

What You’ll Bring
  • 2+ years managing enterprise implementations, onboarding projects, or client‑facing SaaS deployments — you’ve owned timelines, managed stakeholders, and delivered go‑lives under pressure.

  • Background in SaaS serving enterprise clients or financial services — compliance, regtech, or fintech experience is a strong plus.

  • Strong project management skills: you document, you communicate proactively, you escalate the right things at the right time.

  • Excel proficiency and comfort with technical configuration — you can translate between a client’s business workflow and a system setup, and you’re not afraid to get hands‑on.

  • AI fluency in your day‑to‑day: Claude or ChatGPT for drafting and analysis, Gong or similar for meeting intelligence. You use these tools now, not aspirationally.

  • Clear, professional communicator — written and verbal — with enterprise clients and internal stakeholders at every level.

  • Ownership mindset: you treat client outcomes as your outcomes, and you don’t need hand‑holding to figure out what needs doing.

  • Plus: experience with asset managers, hedge funds, or registered investment advisers; familiarity with PE‑backed growth‑stage environments.

Benefits
  • Equity Appreciation Rights — share in what we’re building

  • Comprehensive health coverage: medical, dental, and vision

  • 401(k) with 5% employer match

  • Unlimited PTO, plus your birthday off and paid sick leave

  • Enhanced family leave

  • Life insurance

How We Work

You’ll have day‑to‑day autonomy over your implementations and direct access to the teams you need — Engineering, Product, Client Success — to get things done. Scope changes and timeline risks go to the Director of Implementation; everything else, you own. We share best practices across the implementation team and expect everyone to make the process better, not just execute it.

Work Structure

Hybrid — North Austin HQ, minimum three days per week (Tuesday through Thursday).
