JOB SUMMARY

The Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare / Drunk Elephant Sales and Training Executive, reporting to the Regional Sales Director, is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives. They will build positive brand awareness with retail partners in assigned territories by executing Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare (DDG) and Drunk Elephant retailer programs, launches, event strategy, and freelance management. The Sales and Training Executive will establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners to drive sales and increase in-store opportunities and positioning within the assigned territory.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • You are responsible for driving sales and executing strategies and initiatives within each retailer to ensure the achievement of sales plan.
  • You can maintain a cohesive monthly schedule that aligns with territory volume, call cycle, top volume door focus, as well as business needs incorporating MAPPP™ methodology into the door governance.
  • You can plan, schedule, and execute events in essential opportunity doors utilizing event strategy and assets to drive incremental retail sales and brand awareness.
  • You can build strong relationships with Ulta and Sephora store management, regional/district managers, event managers, education managers, and retail store associates within multiple retail locations.
  • You will meet all deadlines for requests including calendars, expense, and event recaps. Understand retail partner protocols, support, and adhere to their policies.
  • You are responsible for recruiting, hiring, inspiring, scheduling, developing, and retaining productive freelance team members. Ensure achievement of “sales per hour” and “items per transaction” goals.
  • You will monitor and assess weekly SPH/ROI for freelance teams ensuring Brand targets are achieved and pivoting accordingly.
  • You are responsible for strategic management of freelance budgeting, scheduling, and productivity to drive incremental sales.
  • You are responsible and accountable for strategic T&E budget decisions and overall compliance.
  • You will ensure stores are properly merchandised for maximum visual exposure according to Merchandising guidelines (MAPPP™) for Drunk Elephant and Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare.
  • You have strategic focus on raising brand rank and seeking out competitive information to gain market share in the territory.
  • You can provide cohesive feedback to the education/events teams regarding the effectiveness of DDG and Drunk Elephant strategies, training, selling tools, and products.
  • You will monitor and communicate stock concerns to the retail partners and internal key planning partners to ensure proper stock levels and avoid OOS.
  • You will be the brand ambassador, maintaining strong knowledge of the Brand DNA, the products and the Heritage to promote DDG and Drunk Elephant in a positive light at every opportunity.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and navigate multiple teams.
  • You are self-motivated and positive, aligning and engaging with the organization’s visions.
  • You can work a flexible schedule (typical work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday), including weekends and holidays, to meet team objectives.
  • You can drive a car, which is necessary to perform visits to all doors in the call cycle of the defined territory (Valid Driver’s License Required).
WHO YOU ARE
  • You have 3-5 years equivalent experience in the Cosmetic/Aesthetic/Beauty industry.
  • You have Passion for the Beauty Industry, Sales, and Clients.
  • You have proven ability to drive sales, meet/exceed goals, and provide excellent customer service.
  • You can demonstrate ability to assess, analyze, and identify business trends.
  • You have experience in successful budget management.
  • You have demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and develop a team.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills and knowledge to build positive business partnerships.
  • You can work collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • You are self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • You can work a flexible schedule (typical work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday), including weekends and holidays, to meet team objectives.
  • You have excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills, including solid presentation abilities.
  • You are proficient in all Microsoft™ Office programs and other analytical tools.
  • You can Travel: up to 50% - Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • You are comfortable with different methods of travel, i.e., Car, Plane, Train, etc.
  • You can lift 30 pounds and work in a fragranced environment on your feet for several hours a day (typical workday is 8 hours, 6-8 in-store).
  • You hold a valid driver's license.

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
