Job Summary We are seeking a professional and dependable Security Officer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to help create and maintain a safe, secure environment for our clients, their employees, and their assets. The ideal candidate has prior security or public safety experience, demonstrates strong integrity, and remains attentive and professional at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Wide range of potential assignments - events, construction, demolition sites, retail, corporate, etc.

Patrol assigned premises and maintain a high level of visibility to deter incidents

Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel have access

Remove trespassers or unauthorized individuals when necessary

Monitor and review surveillance cameras for unusual or suspicious activity

Respond promptly to incidents and reports of suspicious behavior

Complete detailed daily activity reports and document all security incidents

Qualifications

Valid Driver’s License preferred

Previous experience as a Security Officer, Guard, or in a related role preferred

Valid Illinois PERC Card and completion of 20-Hour Basic Training required

Reliable mobile device with internet access (for reporting and communication)

Strong knowledge of public safety/security procedures and protocols

Excellent written communication and report-writing skills

High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment

Strong observational skills and attention to detail
