Business Development Lead
Our client is seeking a Business Development Lead to drive revenue growth through structured sales leadership, strategic execution, and team accountability. This role is responsible for leading a group of sales professionals while contributing to overall sales strategy, market expansion, and performance across both existing and new markets. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in sales or business development, a structured and data‑driven approach, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Lead and manage the sales team, driving performance, accountability, and alignment with organizational objectives
  • Establish and maintain a structured operating cadence including one‑on‑one meetings, team reviews, and strategic planning sessions
  • Translate business growth targets into clear sales priorities and execute consistently against them
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, including accurate tracking of prospects and opportunities
  • Drive revenue growth across existing accounts while expanding into new markets
  • Balance direct selling responsibilities with leadership activities to support overall team success
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to align sales initiatives with operational capacity and strategy
  • Develop and execute sales training initiatives to enhance team capability and performance
  • Build product, market, and process knowledge across the sales team
