Job description

The Technical Training & Development Lead is a senior individual contributor who owns the strategy, design, and continuous improvement of technical learning programs across data center operations. This role drives curriculum excellence, ensures workforce readiness as infrastructure scales, and serves as the primary technical training partner to engineering, operations, and safety stakeholders.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Assist in delivery of technical training curriculum in an in-person and/or virtual classroom environment when needed.
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics for training effectiveness, time-to-competency, and workforce readiness.
  • Advise management of skills gaps, workforce development priorities, and training investment decisions.
  • Planning training logistics and communication templates for large technical rollouts.
  • Work with the Operations Managers and Development Teams to understand the training needs of their community.
  • Collaborate with the Training Program Manager to plan, build, update the training curriculum and Certifications exams.
  • Build course materials such as slide decks, On the Job Training (OJT), assessments, and online courses.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Learning and Development
  • Bachelor's degree in Learning and Development or commensurate experience is preferred.
  • Effective presentation, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and writing skills are required.
  • Effectively collaborate and influence across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Customer service mindset, be highly motivated, and a team player.
  • Experience conveying ideas both verbally and in written form, work independently, and prioritize job responsibilities.
  • Available and able to travel if needed.
  • Experience in technical writing preferred.
  • Relevant experience in computer sciences is preferred.
  • Previous program management.
