About the Role

As a Retail Manager in Training, you’ll help lead daily salon operations, coach team members, deliver excellent customer service, and support store performance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment, leading by example, and helping a team meet sales and service goals. You’ll play an important role in creating a positive, high-energy salon environment where clients feel welcomed, team members are supported, and operational standards stay high.
What You’ll Do

  • Help manage the day-to-day operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead by example in client service, sales performance, and professionalism.
  • Create a welcoming, client-focused experience that supports loyalty and repeat business.
  • Maintain a clean, polished, and professional salon environment.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for team members.
  • Coach, train, and give feedback to improve team performance.
  • Help generate sales reports, monitor inventory, and support operational tasks.
  • Assist the Salon Director in managing revenue, expenses, staffing, and labor costs.
  • Support proper scheduling and coverage to maximize productivity and customer service.
  • Be available to work evenings and weekends as needed for management coverage.
Schedule & Availability
This is a full-time opportunity, and candidates should expect to work approximately 35–45 hours per week, depending on hourly or salary status. Availability for nights, Saturdays, and Sundays is required to provide management coverage.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
  • Lift or help lift items and heavier boxes.
  • Bend down to pick up trash, towels, and other items from the floor.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
  • Work independently and alone during some shifts as business needs require.
