Job Summary
The Business Development Manager is an outside sales position responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
You will engage directly with decision-makers to understand their technology challenges, recommend tailored IT solutions, and communicate Century's value through a consultative, customer-focused sales approach.
This role requires a balance of strategic relationship-building, pipeline management, and strong business acumen to meet sales goals and contribute to Century's continued growth. Can expect to earn 40-50k estimated per year in commission sales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and outbound prospecting.
  • Meet with business leaders and decision-makers to assess needs and propose technology solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Present Century's full suite of IT services, including managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and infrastructure support.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets in both revenue and profitability.
  • Manage the full sales cycle-from prospecting to contract negotiation and close.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT sales, business development, or channel management.
  • Proven success managing the full sales cycle and achieving revenue targets.
