What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking an Organization Development Consultant to support organizational transformation and change initiatives. This role contributes to organizational design, leadership development, and team effectiveness efforts to help clients achieve mission outcomes.

The Consultant will support project teams in delivering high-quality, client-ready products while developing core consulting and organizational development skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support organizational design and restructuring efforts, including contributing to current and future state analyses and transition planning

  • Assist in the development and implementation of change management and organization development strategies aligned with client mission and workforce needs

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of leadership development activities, including training materials, workshops, and coaching support

  • Help facilitate team effectiveness sessions, such as strategic planning workshops, team charters, and working sessions

  • Participate in organizational assessments (e.g., culture, workforce, readiness), including data collection, analysis, and synthesis of findings into actionable insights

  • Support day-to-day project activities, including research, analysis, deliverable development, and quality assurance

  • Collaborate effectively with project teams and contribute to a positive team environment

  • Build foundational client engagement skills through interaction with client stakeholders under supervision

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and deliverables


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field

  • At least 1+ years of relevant experience in organizational development, organizational transformation, or a related field

  • Exposure to organizational design, change management, leadership development, and/or workforce transformation concepts

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support structured approaches to complex challenges

  • Ability to communicate clearly and contribute to development of client-ready deliverables

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Interest in public sector consulting and organizational transformation

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (i.e., US citizenship required)
