The Training & Content Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining training materials and digital learning content for the USDA National Organic Program. This role supports the Organic Integrity Learning Center (OILC) by creating engaging, accessible, and compliant training modules and educational resources.


Key Responsibilities


Training Development
  • Design and develop online training modules for OILCย 
  • Create:ย 
    • Instructional contentย 
    • Lesson materialsย 
    • Quizzes and assessmentsย 
  • Ensure all training aligns with program objectives and regulatory requirementsย 
Content Creation & Maintenance
  • Update and maintain existing training modulesย 
  • Develop written and visual content including:ย 
    • Graphicsย 
    • Videosย 
    • Instructional textย 
  • Ensure consistency with USDA branding and messagingย 
Technical Development
  • Develop and edit content using:ย 
    • HTML and CSSย 
    • Learning Management Systems (LMS)ย 
  • Troubleshoot and maintain training module functionalityย 
Accessibility & Compliance
  • Ensure all materials meet Section 508 accessibility requirementsย 
  • Apply federal style and usability standardsย
