Training Specialist
This position requires an active Secret clearance to be considered.
The Training Specialist will assist with CBP's Training Development.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Training Specialist Responsibilities Include:
  • Facilitate meetings and ad hoc projects, including agenda setting, tracking action items, and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Manage and report on funding and budgets for projects, including submitting PRRs and tracking financial actions in TRIRIGA and SAP.
  • Coordinate facilitation planning, including gathering information, formulating agendas, and documenting process improvements.
  • Oversee PMO training execution, including monitoring compliance, developing training programs, managing the training SharePoint page, and assisting with course logistics.
  • Support employee engagement through 'In the Know' sessions, coordinating Communities of Practice, and developing content for training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three years' experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.
