Join a championship team at Northern Blends Smoothie King - Developer of the Year 2020! We're rapidly expanding across Michigan and Ohio and are looking for high-performing, people-first leaders to support store operations and develop future talent.

As an Assistant Manager, you'll partner with the General Manager to drive business results while building a strong team culture and delivering an Unrivaled Guest Experience.

Role Overview

What You'll Do:
  • Assist the GM/DL in daily operations, including scheduling, labor, and performance
  • Support a culture of hospitality, development, and accountability
  • Train, coach, and retain a high-performing team
  • Lead by example in guest service, food safety, and brand standards
  • Manage inventory, cash handling, and P&L reporting tools
  • Address guest concerns and team challenges with professionalism
  • Foster local brand presence and store community engagement
  • Uphold company policies, safety standards, and compliance procedures
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Assistant Manager or Supervisor experience in food service or retail preferred
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and lead others
  • Comfortable with scheduling software, inventory tools, and basic reporting
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work 40-45 hours/week, including evenings and weekends
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willing to work in cold environments (walk-in coolers/freezers)
