Position: Training and Development Manager
Location: Orlando, FL - Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD)
Security Clearance Required: Secret
Position Type/Standard Work Hours: Full-time / 40 hours per week / Hybrid schedule

Summary/Objective:

Upon contract award, BTAS will be seeking a Training and Development Manager who will assist in the acquisition and management of Navy training systems at the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, FL.
NAWCTSD is the Navy’s principal center for modeling, simulation, and training systems technologies. NAWCTSD is a subordinate command of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and provides training systems development for a wide spectrum of military programs, including aircraft, surface ships, submarines and other specialized requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate the training and development activities and staff of an organization.
Required Education and/or Experience:
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Master’s degree, preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in DoD training, especially Navy training.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not supervise the work of others.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%.

Travel:
Very little.
