Florida Defensive Training is seeking a motivated and professional Full-Time & Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-service oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced training environment serving civilians, private security, and law enforcement personnel.
Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for handling day-to-day administrative operations, customer communication, scheduling, and fingerprint processing services. This role serves as one of the primary points of contact for students, members, and clients.
Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound and outbound customer service calls
  • Respond to SMS messages and emails professionally and promptly
  • Schedule classes, appointments, and training sessions
  • Assist customers with registration and general inquiries
  • Conduct fingerprint services for customers
  • Maintain customer records and administrative documentation
  • Coordinate with instructors and management staff
  • Support daily office operations and front desk activities
  • Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and online
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
