Solar Appointment Setter (Door-to-Door Canvassing)

A Solar Appointment Setter is responsible for generating qualified leads and scheduling appointments for homeowners interested in solar energy through direct door-to-door canvassing. This role involves actively engaging with homeowners in residential neighborhoods, educating them on the benefits of solar energy, utility savings, and available incentives, while identifying qualified prospects for the sales team.
The primary responsibility of the Appointment Setter is to create opportunities for Solar Consultants by setting confirmed in-home or virtual appointments with interested homeowners. Setters serve as the first point of contact for potential customers and play a key role in representing the company professionally and positively in the field.
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned territories
  • Speak with homeowners about solar energy benefits and savings
  • Qualify potential customers based on homeownership, utility usage, and interest level
  • Schedule appointments for Solar Consultants or Sales Representatives
