Seneca Foods Corporation of Montgomery, MN, a food production and distribution center located approximately 35 miles southwest of the Twin Cities metro, currently has an opening for a full-time Manager Trainee. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Directly work across all areas of the facility throughout the year.
  • Assist with contracting raw product acreage as well as crop planting and harvesting in the Agriculture department.
  • Transition into the Manufacturing Plant for the corn processing season.
  • Work with frozen/dry packaging, warehousing, and shipping in the Distribution department upon the conclusion of the vegetable processing season.
  • Other duties as assigned.

After completing the trainee program, the ideal candidate may be requested to relocate to one of Seneca's other facilities located throughout the US as related job positions become available throughout the Company.
 

Requirements: 

  • 4-year college degree and/or supervisory experience in an agricultural setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness and ability to function in a team environment.

Starting wage range based on skills, abilities, and experience from $65k to $75k.
