JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. PURPOSE
As a Wireless Retail Sales Manager Trainee, you will learn to develop, lead, and inspire a team of diverse, energetic, and goal-oriented sales associates. This positions learns the overall operation of the store under the leadership of the manager. Your role includes being a brand ambassador for AT amp;T and Diversity Wireless for the community in which your location serves. Our lucrative Wireless Retail Sales Manager Trainee program will prepare you for your next step within Diversity Wireless.
  1. REQUIREMENTS
1. Two years or more of higher education.
2. One year or more of management experience in retail and or wireless retail sales.
3. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
4. Proven track record of employee development and sales goal attainment.
5. Strong communications, mathematics and computer use skills.
6. Availability to support retail hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
7. The ability to inspire your team and a passion for delivering incredible customer experience.
  1. LINES OF AUTHORITY
Sales Manager Trainee is directly responsible to the Sales Manager and indirectly to the District Manager.
  1. SPECIFIC DUTIES
    1. Attend training classes to prepare for management.
    2. Rotate to different locations to learn all functions.
    3. Review and validate timecard every pay period.
    4. Assist manager and staff with daily inventory of serialized items.
    5. Assist manager and staff with weekly inventory of all accessories.
    6. Assist manager and staff with monthly inventory of entire store by 15th of every month.
    7. Learn to execute sales and promotional plans to drive sales and productivity.
    8. Assist with managing store cleanliness according to CDC guidelines (wear masks, sanitize before and after customers, wash hands regularly, social distance)
    9. Other duties as assigned.
  1. MEETINGS AND TRAINING
    1. Attend staff meetings as scheduled.
    2. Opus and RQ training as directed.
    3. Stay updated on all AT amp;T promotions and changes via AT amp;T app.
