At Star Lumber & Supply Co., Inc., we take pride in delivering confidence through high-quality products and exceptional people. We're looking for an Assembler to join our Door Mill & Manufacturing team at our Wichita location.

Responsibilities Include:
• Assemble and stage door components for production
• Use hand and power tools to construct and join door parts
• Load and unload materials on various assembly equipment
• Operate a forklift and other automated machinery when needed
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety protocols
• Accurately complete manufacturing documentation
Requirements
  • One year previous experience working in assembly or manufacturing
  • Previous experience operating a forklift
  • Ability to use a tape measure and calculate basic math
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and 100 lbs in a team lift
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and PPE policy
  • Overtime as needed
  • Permanent authorization to work in the United States
  • 18 Years or older with reliable transportation

Preferred Experience
  • Knowledge of lumber and building materials
