Job description

Job Summary:
WinCo Foods is a growing family of supermarkets focused on providing low prices to its customers and employee owners. The Associate Network Administrator will support and analyze the enterprise WAN/LAN, learn to install and maintain network hardware and software, and document network problems. This role is essential for ensuring efficient network performance across the company's operations.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with IT Staff to learn how to analyze network performance and isolate network issues.
• Provide system support for all aspects of cabling and networking hardware and software products.
• Learn to monitor network hardware and software including routers, switches, wireless controller, VPN appliances, and PBX’s.
• Monitor network performance and respond to alerts as necessary.
• Monitor, test, and report on network performance.
• Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory.
• Participate in research on network products, services, and protocols.
• Prepare procedure manuals and help sheets for network installations.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Associates in a technology related discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Demonstrating knowledge of network hardware and operating systems.
• Demonstrating knowledge of SNMP MIB network performance monitoring.
• Demonstrating familiarity with network routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, HSRP, VRRP), switching protocols (LaCP, Etherchannel).
• Exhibiting strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

• CCENT, ATSP
• CCNA, ACMA
