Senior Network Engineer / Sr. Manager, Infrastructure Operations
Compensation: $120,000โ€“$150,000 + bonus potential
Direct Hire / Remote

Imprimis Group has partnered with a highly respected global organization to identify a Senior Network Engineer / Sr. Manager, Infrastructure Operations for a newly available leadership opportunity. This is an excellent fit for a senior-level infrastructure professional who thrives in a highly technical, hands-on environment while also providing operational leadership and mentorship to a distributed engineering team. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to make a long-term impact within a complex global enterprise environment.ย 
This role will serve as the lead engineer for global network infrastructure initiatives, driving operational excellence, modernization efforts, security, and performance across a multi-site enterprise environment.

What Youโ€™ll Do:
  • Lead design, implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise network infrastructure across a global environment.
  • Drive network architecture initiatives, technology standardization, and modernization strategies.
  • Design and support secure connectivity solutions including SD-WAN, VPN, hybrid cloud networking, and site-to-site connectivity.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex network incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Manage and optimize firewalls, switching, routing, wireless infrastructure, and enterprise access control platforms.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to a small offshore network engineering team.
  • Partner cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams on enterprise initiatives.
  • Create and maintain network documentation, standards, diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency improvements.

What Weโ€™re Looking For:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required, Masterโ€™s degree and various certifications desired.
  • 8+ years of progressive enterprise network engineering experience.
  • Proven experience as a senior or lead engineer within a global enterprise environment.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with:
    • Cisco networking technologies.
    • Cisco ISE (or comparable NAC platforms).
    • Meraki infrastructure.
    • Fortinet firewalls.
    • Arista switching and wireless solutions.

Strong technical knowledge of:
  • BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS.
  • TACACS, RADIUS.
  • VPN technologies and SD-WAN.
  • Enterprise wireless design and troubleshooting.
  • Packet capture and traffic analysis tools.
  • Microsoft Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity.

Preferred Experience:
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Terraform, Python, Ansible, or other automation tools.
  • Experience in highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Experience leading distributed/offshore technical teams.
  • Strong operational leadership with the ability to balance strategy and hands-on execution.
