How much do trainee medical practice manager jobs pay per year?

As of Jul 21, 2026, the average yearly pay for trainee medical practice manager in the United States is $72,410.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $59,500.00 and $80,000.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

Can I be a practice manager with no experience?

Becoming a trainee medical practice manager typically requires some knowledge of healthcare operations and administrative skills, but prior experience is not always mandatory. Entry-level trainees often receive on-the-job training and may need relevant certifications or education in healthcare administration. Developing skills in office management, communication, and understanding medical billing can help qualify for such roles.

Is being a MOA a good entry level job?

A Medical Office Assistant (MOA) role is often considered a good entry-level job in healthcare, providing foundational experience in administrative tasks, patient interaction, and medical record management. It typically requires minimal formal education beyond a high school diploma and offers opportunities to develop skills useful for advancing into medical practice management or other healthcare positions.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

A Trainee Medical Practice Manager typically earns less than $4,000 weekly during training; however, experienced managers in healthcare settings can earn over that amount with relevant experience and certifications. Other high-paying roles without a degree include sales managers, real estate brokers, and certain skilled trades like commercial pilots or construction managers, which often require specialized training or licenses. These positions usually demand strong skills, experience, or certifications rather than formal degrees.

How do you become a medical practice manager?

To become a medical practice manager, candidates typically need a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field, along with experience in healthcare settings. Developing skills in leadership, finance, and healthcare regulations, and obtaining certifications such as the Certified Medical Manager (CMM), can enhance job prospects. Many managers start in administrative roles and advance through experience and additional training.
