Job description

Trailer Mechanics and Liftgate Technician needed in North Haledon, NJ. Preferred experience: body work, brakes, ABS diagnostics, wiring, liftgates, welding, and fabricating

Pay based on experience and overtime available, but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Repair trailers
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance
  • Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer

Qualifications:

  • Having experience in welding, construction, fabrication or mechanics is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of shop equipment a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills a plus
  • previous work in a shop environment is a plus

Additional Information:

  • Day shift positions available for shop work and road service
  • Overtime Available
  • Apprentice to journeyman level positions available including transport refrigeration service and repair
  • Looking for someone with mechanical, welding, and/or fabrication skills
  • Willing to train
  • Pay rate based on experience
